Take your places, people, the celebrity dancing extravaganza is back!
Packed full of glitz, glamour, show-stopping moves and more sequins than ever before, the sensational sixth series is putting the sparkle back into Saturday nights on BBC One.
Sixteen new celebrity contestants have been paired up with our internationally renowned professional dancers and put through their paces. Learning everything from the Tango to the Paso Doble, they will perform in front of a live studio audience every Saturday night, fighting to keep their place in the competition - and be this year's Strictly Come Dancing champions.
Once again, entertainment legend Bruce Forsyth is your host, with the help of his glamorous co-host Tess Daly, and the competitors will have to do their very best to impress our judges Len Goodman, Craig Revel Horwood, Arlene Phillips and Bruno Tonioli.
Strictly Sundays
What better way to wrap up your weekend than to sit down to the Strictly results show? This year, the results show will once again be brought to you on Sunday nights. It's an extended 45-minute show packed full of Strictly goodies such as behind-the-scenes footage, musical performances, and, of course, more dancing!
Once the live Saturday show has been broadcast and the vote lines have closed, the results show will be recorded, to be shown on Sunday night. In the Sunday results show, the bottom two couples will be announced. They will then face a dance-off, leaving the judges to decide - based solely on that performance alone - who should stay and who should go. If the judges' vote is split 50/50 then head judge Len Goodman will have the deciding vote on who should be saved. In the final week, the viewers will decide who will be crowned Strictly Come Dancing Champion 2008.
